About

The company behind the phone system

3CTel is a Canadian business communications provider. We set up and run cloud phone systems for organizations across Canada, in English and in French, and we do it by starting with how your calls should flow rather than with a feature list.

  • Cloud phone, routing, AI receptionist and contact centre
  • Service in English and French
  • Every system planned with a specialist before it is built

3CTel is a Canadian business communications provider. It delivers cloud business phone systems, call routing, an AI receptionist that answers in English and French, contact centre tools, business SMS, video meetings, online fax, call analytics, Canadian local and toll-free numbers, number porting and SIP trunking. Each system is planned with a 3CTel specialist, quoted before work begins and billed only once it is activated.

Who we are

3CTel provides business communications to Canadian organizations: the phone system a customer calls into, the rules that decide who answers, the receptionist that picks up when nobody can, and the messaging, meeting and fax tools that sit alongside it.

We work with businesses that range from a single owner with one advertised number to organizations with many locations and a contact centre. What they have in common is that the phone still matters to them, and they want it to work without becoming a project.

How we work

  1. We start with the call, not the plan

A specialist asks who calls you, who should answer and what happens when nobody can. That becomes a call flow before any feature is chosen.

  2. We quote before we build

Pricing is quoted in writing for the system that was planned. Nothing is billed until activation.

  3. We build and test on a temporary number

Greeting, menu, hours and routing are configured on a number nobody else knows. You call it and hear what customers will hear.

  4. We port and switch over

Your number moves on a date confirmed with you; the old service works until then. Afterward, the admin portal is yours to change hours, users and greetings.

Who we serve

Our customers are Canadian organizations of most sizes: small businesses that want one number and a short menu, growing teams adding their first queue, multi-location operators putting every branch on one system, and organizations running a contact centre. We work across the industries where the phone is still how customers first make contact, from clinics and professional services to retail, construction, education and government.

Language

3CTel serves customers in English and in French. Greetings, menus and the AI receptionist can be configured in either language or both, with a language choice at the start of the call. Planning, documentation and support are available in both languages.

Facts we publish

We prefer to state less and stand behind all of it. The following are confirmed in writing to any customer or prospective customer who asks:

  • The legal name of the entity you contract with.
  • The service address registered for 9-1-1 on each of your devices, and how to change it.
  • Support hours and the channels available during and outside those hours.
  • How your call records, recordings and messages are retained and who can access them.

Certifications, service-level figures and company history are not currently published. Ask, and we will tell you what we can document.
