Calls are handled by a hosted phone system with routing, voicemail to email, desktop and mobile apps, and Canadian local and toll-free numbers. It can also feed SIP trunks to a PBX you already own. Your network is reviewed before cutover, and 911 is configured with your registered service address.

No, but it needs a stable one. Voice uses a small amount of bandwidth per call; what matters more is consistent upload speed and low jitter. During planning the connection and router are reviewed, voice traffic is prioritised on the local network where possible, and a failover path for inbound calls is set in case the connection drops.
Canadian VoIP providers must provide 9-1-1 service and warn customers of its limitations. Because a VoIP call can come from any location, a registered service address is confirmed with you for each site and each user’s device at setup. You are responsible for updating that address when staff or devices move so responders receive the right location.

In most cases, yes. If your system supports standard SIP — a 3CX installation, for example — we connect trunks to it and leave your extensions, licences and staff training in place.

It depends on the network, which is why we review it first. With adequate upload capacity and voice traffic prioritised on the LAN, quality is comparable and often clearer thanks to wideband audio between internal extensions.
