Customer stories
Every story on this page is published only with the client's written approval, in their name, and in a fixed format that keeps what 3CTel built separate from what the client reported. Until a client has approved a story, nothing appears here.
Customer stories
Customer stories are published here once a client has reviewed and approved the write-up. None are live yet — nothing on this site presents an unverified result.

How a story is documented
A customer story is a record of one organization's phone system, written after it has been in use long enough for the client to say what changed. It is drafted by 3CTel, reviewed line by line by the client, and published only when they have approved it in writing. The same five sections appear in every story so that readers can compare like with like.
Challenge
The opening section describes the problem in the client's terms: missed calls at a front desk, a second location that could not transfer to the first, an after-hours line nobody was answering, a queue with no way to see who was waiting. It names the industry and the size of the team, and nothing that the client has asked to keep private. It does not describe the previous provider except where the client has chosen to.
Call flow before
This section walks through what happened to a call before the change, step by step: which number was dialled, what the caller heard, who it rang, what happened when nobody answered. It is written from the caller's side, because that is where the problem usually shows. Where a diagram helps, the before-and-after call flow appears here.
What 3CTel built
The middle section is the factual core of the story. It lists the components that were configured: numbers ported or provisioned, the menu and its options, ring groups and queues, business-hours and after-hours rules, the AI receptionist and its languages, recording and its announcement, apps and devices per role, and any connection to another system and how it was delivered. It describes what exists, not what it achieved.
Results the client reported
Outcomes appear only here, and only as the client stated them. If the client reports fewer missed calls, that is written as their report and, where they have shared a figure, it is attributed to them and dated. 3CTel does not add its own figures, averages or comparisons to this section. Where a client prefers not to share numbers, the section describes the change in words.
In their words
Each story closes with a short quote from a named person at the client, with their role, approved by them in writing. The quote is not edited after approval. Where a client prefers anonymity, the story is not published rather than being published without a name.
