How does 3CTel pricing work?
3CTel pricing is quoted, not listed. A specialist plans your system with you, then sends a written quote that itemizes users, phone numbers, devices and any features such as the AI receptionist or Contact Centre. You review and confirm the quote before anything is built, and nothing is billed until your system is activated and calls are switched over.
Why the price is quoted rather than published
Two businesses with the same number of staff rarely need the same phone system. One may want a single main menu and voicemail to email; another may want call queues, recording, business texting and a toll-free number. A quote lets the price reflect what you actually use instead of a bundle that includes features you will never touch.
The quote is built from the plan you create with a specialist, or from the choices you make in Build My Phone System. It is written, itemized and yours to keep whether or not you go ahead.
What a quote itemizes
- Users: each person who needs their own extension, voicemail box and app sign-in.
- Numbers: local and toll-free numbers you keep or add, including any fax numbers.
- Devices: desk phones, cordless handsets or conference phones, if you want hardware at all. Apps-only systems have no device line.
- Features: options such as AI receptionist, Contact Centre, call recording, business SMS, video meetings and online fax.
- Calling: how domestic, US and international calling is handled for your plan.
- One-time work: number porting and any configuration that is not part of standard setup.
How to avoid surprises
Read the quote line by line and ask about anything that is not clear. If a feature you expect is missing, say so before activation; adding it later is possible but it is simpler to get it right in planning. If a line item is not something you need, ask to remove it.
Everything on the quote is confirmed in writing before activation. Changes after activation, such as adding a user or a number, are quoted the same way before they take effect.
3CTel does not publish a price list on this site. For a figure that applies to your business, request a quote or start Build My Phone System.
Related questions.
Is there a per-user price I can plan around?
The quote is organized per user so you can see how the total changes as staff join or leave. Because features and calling differ between businesses, 3CTel does not publish a single per-user rate; your quote shows the rate that applies to your configuration.
Are taxes included in the quote?
Quotes show applicable Canadian taxes as separate lines so you can see the pre-tax amount and the total. Which taxes apply depends on the province where the service is billed.
Does the quote expire?
A quote reflects the plan at the time it is written. If you come back after a long gap, or your requirements change, ask the specialist to refresh it so the numbers, devices and features still match what you want.
